ETERNAL LOVE

Sometimes I wonder notions people have

Amazingly they think and oddly behave

Love is considered a physical asset

They live in falsehood with strange mindset

Expressions of love may need gestures at best

Mostly love is skin deep , vanishes with mistrust

Women are loved for beauty and fashion exhibit

This lustful love does not long last

True love is union of souls greatest

Even if body is lost love still persists

pure love is eternal and ever exists

A Few Words Of Apology And Devotion

I am a surgeon not a poet. Please do not judge my writing from literary angle. Rather have the feel of my pure love and emotional expression. I wrote these few rhymes in honor of my wife, friend, a companion and above all a divine soul. All these are spontaneous expressions of my true love and respect for a super human being who never hurt anybody with her words and deeds. Somewhere in my diary (50 years ago) I had written that I shall get married after 11 days with an angel ( Raj) who will solve all my problems of life. We got married on 12h November 1961. She left me on 27th August 2010. we had a blissful married life for almost 49 years. Indeed I am indebted to her and shall remain till eternity. - Dr. Kuldip Singh Khera
