Truth you dwelt in Raj

Humility is name of Raj

Majesty you adorn Raj

Compassion is nature of Raj

Sweet smile behooves Raj

No hate, no rancor is Raj

Eyes clear and shiny of Raj

Behavior like saints of Raj

You Ruled on me Raj

Your raaj is eternal Raj

(If I will fade your memories shall

remain in my soul)

Oh Raj! My Raj! Our Raj!

A Few Words Of Apology And Devotion

I am a surgeon not a poet. Please do not judge my writing from literary angle. Rather have the feel of my pure love and emotional expression. I wrote these few rhymes in honor of my wife, friend, a companion and above all a divine soul. All these are spontaneous expressions of my true love and respect for a super human being who never hurt anybody with her words and deeds. Somewhere in my diary (50 years ago) I had written that I shall get married after 11 days with an angel ( Raj) who will solve all my problems of life. We got married on 12h November 1961. She left me on 27th August 2010. we had a blissful married life for almost 49 years. Indeed I am indebted to her and shall remain till eternity. - Dr. Kuldip Singh Khera
